Scene Description
Buzz Aldrin standing on the lunar surface during the first Moon landing. Neil Armstrong and the Lunar Module Eagle visible reflected in Aldrin's gold visor. Harsh directional sunlight from the left creates a long shadow on the regolith. Boot prints visible in the fine lunar dust. LM leg and gold foil visible at bottom right.
Rendering Challenges
- Single harsh directional light (no atmosphere, no fill)
- Lunar regolith material (fine grey dust with subtle sparkle)
- Reflective gold visor showing environment reflection
- No atmospheric scattering (pure black sky)
- Sharp shadow edges (no penumbra without atmosphere)
- Spacesuit material (white fabric, multiple layers, connectors)
- Boot print displacement in dust
Key Elements

- Gold visor reflection
- Lunar surface (regolith, boot prints)
